Our own RV resident and fellow tennsi Kaki, had a shoulder dislocation injury while playing during the weekly residents' nite. He sustained it while attempting a overhead smash and probably overstretched himself. He could not lift his shoulder and had to be assisted. Vincent Lee, together with our other tennis kakis tried to realign the shoulder but to no avail. In the end , Vincent Lee was kind enough to drive him to see a Sinseh but was referred to SGH for further examination.We wish him a speedy recovery and for those who know him perhaps send him a get well SMS at his hp 90669949.
We like to remind all tennis players to go easy on your forehand and overhead smash. Just to use the major muscles (ie back and shoulder blade) instead of forearm power..
